Pause and align with the cycles of the moon in our 90 minute yoga workshop!
New Moons represent the start of a fresh lunar cycle, a powerful time of the month to turn inward, be still, and set intentions. New moons occur when the sun and moon align at the same place in orbit. The light from the moon is absent and the sky’s darkness offers the opportunity to imagine abundant possibilities and new potential.
Together we will flow through a 60 minute yin yoga sequence, followed by a new moon ritual, a brief journaling practice with prompts, and ending with a sharing circle.
Yin yoga is an ancient practice that embodies a slow, meditative approach. Unlike yang yoga, which focuses on muscle strength, yin invites passive stretching, fostering a profound sense of relaxation and inner calm guided by bodily sensations. Through holding postures for extended periods, it targets deeper layers of fascia, connective tissues and joints often untouched by the superficial heating of the yang.
